Well, I am in the process of moving my sewing room back home to a small bedroom. I have boxes and bags of stuff everywhere. When I get things sorted out I will post a picture. In the middle of this move I made 3 flower girl dresses for my granddaughters to wear in Rachel's wedding. This is the third set of dresses for the girls in one year. They are professional flower girls.

Kids SEWING Camps

Dates and Times

Monday - June 14th, 21st, or 28th, or July 12th, 19th, or 26th,
Saturday -July 10th, or 17th
Morning camps 10:00-12:00 Afternoon camps 1:00-4:00

If the schedule does not work for you, please give me a call.
There may be other options available and we often add new sessions as the camps fill up.

Skills you will learn:
Students will learn parts of the machine, how to thread the machine, how to wind a bobbin, straight stitch, zig zag stitch, reverse, and more. Camps are designed for kids and teens 5th grade and above. Limited to 4 students per camp, students work at their own pace and receive lots of individual help. Use our sewing machines and equipment. We provide custom patterns and lots of fun!

Tuition and Registration
Morning camps are $20 per session and afternoon camps are $30 per session. Students may purchase a materials kit for their project (cost $5 to $10) or bring their own fabric.

Camps are taught by Ruth Worthington. Ruth is a licensed Kids Can Sew® & Fashion Design instructor. Camps are taught in her studio at 316 Main Street, Cedartown.

Sewing and Quilting Classes are coming in May. Beginning Sewing, May 5th and 12th or May 19 and 26 from 5 - 7 pm. Beginning Quilting May 3, 10, 17, 24 from 4 - 6pm and Quilting Phase II on Mondays from 6 -8pm. Call for additional information. 770-748-8350

The next Beginning Quilting Class will start Monday, November 30 from 6-8 pm. We will meet on 4 consecutive Mondays (Nov 30th, Dec. 7th, 14th, & 21st) Cost for the class is $85 which includes the book Start Quilting by Alex Anderson. If you use some Christmas fabric in your quilt you will have a finished quilt ready by December 25th, just in time to decorate with or to give to someone special.
